Dear Friends,  On behalf of the Noontime Optimist Club of Freehold and IEP Youth Services, I want to thank you for generous support to our Taste of the Towns held March 30, 2015, at the Radisson Hotel. The focus of this event was fundraising for the children of our community. IEP Youth Services, Inc. advocates for youth by providing resources which include a safe, nurturing environment and counseling for self improvement and to empower them to overcome crisis and reach their goals. The Noontime Optimist Club supports Camp Quality NJ, an organization with year round activities for children who have been diagnosed with cancer and for their families. The Optimists also organize activities such as spelling bees, fishing derbies and photography contests for youth in the community and award college scholarships as well as "tools of the trade" to high school seniors that are entering trades. The online version of the Taste of the Towns journal can be viewed below. Once again, thanks for your support.   Sincerely, Patti Schrager, Chairperson Carole Robinson, President, Noontime Optimist Club of Freehold Martin Krupnick, PsyD, E D, IEP Youth Services

Keller Williams Realtors of Monmouth/Ocean designated IEP Youth Services, Inc. for their National “Red Day” Project on May 14, 2015  At a professional women’s networking event hosted by Entrepreneurial Think Tank Women, LLC, IEP Youth Services, Inc.  Development Director Cora Manzo,  and Kathleen Lockwood, IEP Board Chair spoke on behalf of IEP Youth Services, Inc. a 501(c)3 non- profit social services organization which has been providing residential, social and psychological services to youth in Monmouth County for nearly 30 years.   One of the many professional women at the ETTW event was Josephine Wilson, a realtor for Monmouth/Ocean Keller Williams Realty. In December 2014, Cora was invited to Keller Williams Office in Jackson, NJ to speak at their holiday party on behalf of IEP Youth Services, Inc. Keller Williams realtors presented Cora with gifts for IEP clients and spoke with her about Keller Williams national “RED Day” (Renew, Energize and Donate); an initiative dedicated to celebrating Keller Williams Realty’s year-round commitment to improving local communities.  Each year, on the second Thursday in May, tens of thousands of associates from across the United States and Canada participate in a wide range of projects, devoting their time to renewing and energizing aspects of the neighborhoods in which they serve.  RED Day initiatives run the gamut: From rebuilding homes, refurbishing local parks, giving to local food shelters, hosting blood drives, beautifying beaches and so much more. Projects are chosen by each individual market center based on a need they see within its community. When IEP was notified that they were being considered as the recipient charity of Red Day” Cora Manzo met with Dr. Martin Krupnick, IEP’s Executive Director, and needless to say, he was thrilled to welcome the help for much-needed repairs to the 83 West Main Street building and offices.  IEP staff, board and clients also pitched in and volunteered to help over 30 Keller Williams Volunteers on May 14, 2015, National “Red Day”. IEP board chair, Kathleen Lockwood secured a donation of food and beverages from Sam's Club to provide lunch for all who worked on the project that day. IEP is extremely grateful for the dedication and commitment Keller Williams Realtors and volunteers contributed and donated to this project.  They worked tirelessly all day into the evening to install cabinets, paint offices, power wash and paint building, repair porch, install fences, etc.  They even surprised IEP with a 40”inch TV for the client waiting room and a gift certificate to purchase window coverings.
